Pupil Voice & Influence
At the Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust, our students are central to all we do. The blog stream on this page is all about how we are celebrating and developing student's sense of agency and co-agency. This will form the awareness that the voice of children and young people is powerful and can affect change, that life is something to be grasped rather than something that happens, and that we have maximum agency if we work together for the common good. We work closely with other proponents of the Lundy Model of Pupil Agency, such as the Hull Voice & Influence Team, Hull University and the Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University. We have also taken inspiration directly from Professor Laura Lundy herself and followed the examples of the Government of Ireland's National Framework for Children & Young People's Participation in Decision-making.
