Students from Kelvin Hall School and The Boulevard Academy spent the morning at Hull University with Oh Yes Net Zero. They were learning all about Sustainable Drainage Systems, known as SuDS. These are designed to manage stormwater locally, to mimic natural drainage and encourage its infiltration, attenuation and treatment. As well as looking at models of SuDS, they experimented making their own SuDS using yoghurt pots, sponges, rice and gauze.
