Out of all our schools, St. George's Primary School faces the biggest challenge for making it's site greener. As the oldest running school in the city, the Victorians didn't give it a school field at all, and there has been no capacity in the local area of terraced housing to create a school field. In recent years, artificial turf has been laid over the concrete playgrounds. This summer, the schools' biggest Eco Challenge is to create a living wall, using recycled botttles attached the school's walls.
