Priory Primary School's Junior Leadership Team has been very busy this spring term. They have been encouraging everyone to 'shutdown' and 'unplug' electrical items as part of their Spring Eco Challenge.
They have also been helping Emma Hardy MP with her 'Butterfly City' programme, planting Buckthorn plants to encourage the Brimstone Butterflies and visiting local residential homes, as well as having events to raise money for the World Wildlife Fund.
Their summer Eco Challenges will include more biodiversity, reducing plastic and saving water. As always, the ideas come from these eager pupils who really want to have an impact on the planet.
