Oldfleet Primary School's Eco Team has been really busy choosing summer Eco Challenges for the school. First, a large amount of rubbish has blown onto the school site following a refuse collection initiative in the local area. Pupils are planning to work in teams with 'litter grabbers' to have a bit litter pick. They will be recording this as part of the Big Bag challenge to see how many black bin liners that they can fill.
They are also having a push on recycling, including soft plastic wrappers and a push on resuable cups, plates, utensils, bottles and containers.
Finally, pupils were keen to send out a message reminding people to buy products with less packaging.
